Great Days Out - the Wild About Argyll trilogies

Whether you’re looking for active family fun or an intrepid adventure, Argyll & The Isles offers some truly great days out. Our Wild About Argyll trilogy series shows you how to visit three iconic Argyll attractions in one unforgettable day. We explain how to walk, cycle or drive between the attractions, what to see and do at each attraction and the facilities and parking available. We even give top tips if you’re with a young family, full of beans, not so good on your feet and in a hurry. Choose between the North Argyll Trilogy, Knapdale Trilogy and Benmore Trilogy. Or why not try and do all three?

Benmore Trilogy
This magnificent stretch of rugged hill country is at the heart of the very first Forest Park for public enjoyment to be established in Britain back in 1935. The micro climate has provided ideal growing conditions for an incredible range of flowering plants and trees from around the globe which you can readily explore on foot. In this Great Day out you can visit Benmore Botanic Garden, Puck's Glen and Kilmun Arboretum.
