Calgary Bay and Calgary Woods Art in Nature

This is arguably the best beach on Mull, if not Scotland. Situated in the north-west corner of the island, it’s pure paradise: beautiful white sand, shallow turquoise seas and a sheltered location.

What’s more it’s backed by an ancient forest complete with a castle. The beach is easily accessible, but feels wild and remote and is a great place to spot wildlife.

Calgary Farmhouse is home to a fantastic café and an art gallery. It's also the start of a sculpture trail that winds through the woods. Follow the trail to Calgary Bay, and enjoy the sculptures by local artists.
