Loch Riddon Bothy

Located on the east side of Loch Riddon, 3 miles north of Colintraive, Loch Riddon Bothy is a recently completed architect designed modern bothy in a unique location with views out over the sea loch to the mountains beyond. It provides fully furnished self-catering accommodation.

The Bothy sleeps two adults on a mezzanine platform accessed by a ladder. The double mattress has top quality bed linen with wool filled duvet and pillows. The main living area provides a tiny kitchen handmade from pre-used whisky staves with fridge, mini oven and small hob. The colourful worktop has been custom made for us by Mirrl, a small Glasgow company, using Japanese lacquer techniques. The woodburning stove comes set ready to light with a full basket of logs. There is a table and chairs for two and a tweed covered sofa as well as locally made soft furnishings and artwork. Wifi is provided and there is good reception for Vodafone and o2 networks. The spacious shower room comes with towels and locally made natural soap.

Outside, the Bothy has a deck with seating as well as a BBQ.

Guests are very welcome to use seasonal fruit, vegetables herbs and salad from the garden.

There is off road parking for guests with a 50 metre walk across the garden to access the Bothy. Storage for bikes is also available.
