Paddle in Argyll and the Isles
Argyll & the Isles is a natural playground for those who love being on the water.
With our natural environment ideally suited to the full range of paddle-powered adventures. For kayakers and canoeists, we have sheltered lochs, canal paddles, the Argyll Sea Kayak Trail, white-water river adventures and our very own 40 Lochs and 50 Islands challenges. For SUP enthusiasts, we have a network of freshwater and sea lochs with flat waters for those seeking calm and coastal waters for the more adventurous. And for those who like to be in the water, we have some of Scotland’s best wild swimming spots and the magical North Argyll Snorkel Trail.
We boast the UK's first Hope Spot, a special place, critical to the health of the ocean and valued by local communities, and an abundance of marine wildlife. Think porpoise, basking sharks, seals and starfish. It’s all so accessible here on Scotland’s Adventure Coast.
Argyll & the Isles is a beautiful corner of the world with an ever-changing landscape above and below the water. What better way to explore it than by paddle?
