In Argyll, we produce two different bedroom folders – ‘Welcome to Argyll and the Isles’ and ‘Welcome to Loch Lomond, Cowal & Bute’ – that can be found in guest rooms all over the region. As of 2022, these two folders combined have just under 1,600 individual accommodation outlets that display the folders. Almost 850 of these are self-catering properties, and just under 250 of them are hotels, with the rest of them being B&Bs, guest houses, caravan parks and so on.

The folders are the best way to get print information to visitors staying in self-catering, and in general are a really effective way to target overnight visitors to the area.
